With a four-leg slip where each leg is priced at -110, the payout multiplier rises to 13.29 for a $10 bet. Practically, a four-leg parlay payout accelerates upwards from the individual leg odds.
Decimal Odds Math
Parley payout calculation begins with expressed odds in decimal form. The math starts from American lines, where the “old-fashioned" -100, +100, -110 format is converted to a decimal equivalent.
For a negative line like -110, say to divide 100 by the absolute odds figure and add 1, so -110 becomes 1.909. This formula is the basis for the rise in payout as more legs are added.
