How we work

Six rules, written down so that a reader can hold us to them.

The six rules

1. One question per page. A page exists to answer a question a player actually asks, and it stops when the question is answered. Length is not a quality signal.
2. Primary sources, linked. Regulators, statutes, testing laboratories and the operators’ own terms. If a figure cannot be traced to a source, it does not go in.
3. No invented numbers. No made-up payout percentages, no imaginary averages, no statistics without an origin.
4. Local rules stay local. Where the answer depends on the state, the country or the licence, the page says which rule applies where instead of flattening it into one sentence.
5. No rankings, no recommendations. We name operators, regulators and payment networks as factual examples only. We never tell a reader where to play.
6. Money questions carry the cost. Any page about bonuses, stakes or losses states what the reader can lose and where to get help.

What we never do

• We do not publish reviews scored by commission, and we do not sell position in any list.
• We do not claim to have tested operators, met their staff or collected player surveys. We did not.
• We do not fabricate an editorial history: pages inherited from the older version of this domain are kept because readers and search engines still use them, not because we wrote them yesterday.
• We do not let a paid placement decide the subject, the angle or the conclusion of a page.

Corrections

If a page here is wrong, tell us what and where. Corrections are made in the page itself, and the checked date in the byline moves only when the text was actually re-read.
